NSComm Giant 674 is a next-generation 100G/400G Ethernet Network Packet Broker (NPB) designed for data centers, carriers, and large-scale enterprise networks that require high-speed traffic visibility, intelligent distribution, and scalable monitoring architectures.

Providing 24 × 40G/100G Ethernet ports and 8 × 100G/400G Ethernet ports, Giant 674 delivers exceptional port density for complex networks with high traffic volume and multiple monitored links. All ports can be flexibly configured as input or output interfaces, supporting both standard I/O mode and single-fiber receive mode for diverse deployment scenarios-including inline connections and traffic access after optical splitting.

Built for wire-speed visibility, the Giant 674 offers full-duplex, line-rate traffic processing with zero packet loss, ensuring reliable packet delivery to monitoring systems such as IDS/IPS, SIEM, APM/NPMD, application analysis tools, and signaling analyzers.

With advanced packet classification and matching, it can classify packets based on input port, five-tuple, fixed feature fields, and supports tunnel protocols such as GTP and GRE, enabling traffic distribution based on inner-layer IP addresses-ideal for telecom, overlay, and multi-tenant environments.

For scalable operations, Giant 674 supports multiple monitoring models including many-to-one aggregation, one-to-many replication, upstream/downstream separation, and session-keeping load-balanced output, and supports multi-device cascading and cooperative management for large deployments.
